Refund Policy

Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains cancellation and refund rules for NexoOne educational services and materials.

Effective date: 2026-02-11 • Last updated: 2026-02-11

1) Definitions

  • "Order": your purchase of a cohort seat, private sessions, or a workshop.
  • "Start date": the first scheduled session date for your Order.
  • "Digital materials": downloadable templates, documents, recordings (if provided).
  • "Reschedule": moving a session to a new date/time within an agreed window.

2) Scope

This policy applies to NexoOne educational services. If you have a separate written agreement, that agreement may define different terms for the specific engagement.

3) Eligibility and general principles

  • Refunds are evaluated based on timing, service consumption, and materials delivered.
  • We do not promise outcomes; refunds are not based on subjective expectations.
  • We may require verification of the purchaser and payment method for security.

4) Cancellation timelines (typical rules)

Timelines are set to comply with applicable consumer and contract rules in Japan.

4.1 Cohort programs

  • Before the start date: You may request cancellation. If the seat is not yet used, we may refund minus reasonable administrative costs (if any).
  • After the start date: Refunds are generally not available once the program has begun, except where required by law or if we cannot deliver the service.

4.2 Private (1:1) sessions

  • Before the first session: Cancellation may be eligible for refund minus administrative costs (if any).
  • After sessions are delivered: Used sessions are not refundable. Unused sessions may be refundable only if agreed in writing or required by law.

4.3 Team workshops

  • Custom work (agenda design, prep calls) may be non-refundable once started.
  • If we cancel the workshop due to our unavailability, we will offer rescheduling or a refund for undelivered portions.

5) Rescheduling

  • Rescheduling requests should be made as early as possible.
  • We may require a minimum notice window (e.g., 24–72 hours) depending on the format.
  • Repeated reschedules may result in session forfeiture to protect scheduling fairness.

6) Digital services and materials

If digital materials are delivered immediately after purchase, your ability to cancel or obtain a refund may be limited, except where required by law.

  • Once downloadable materials are provided, refunds may be restricted.
  • Access to member-only materials (if any) may be treated as “consumed” once accessed.
Wording reflects common rules for digital content, cooling-off periods, and service start consent where applicable in Japan.

7) Non-refundable items (typical examples)

  • Completed sessions or workshops already delivered
  • Custom work already performed (agenda design, research, preparation)
  • Materials that have been delivered and reasonably cannot be “returned”

8) How to request a refund

Send a request with the following information:

  • Full name and email used for purchase
  • Order description (cohort / 1:1 / workshop) and approximate purchase date
  • Reason for request (brief, factual)
Contact for refund requests:
  • Email: contact@nexoone.jp
  • Address: 4-4-4 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 104-0061, Japan

9) Processing time

If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible. Processing times depend on payment providers.

  • Review: typically within a reasonable timeframe after receiving all required information.
  • Issuance: after approval, timing depends on your bank/payment provider.

10) Disputes

If you believe a decision is incorrect, contact us with additional information. Where required by law, you may have access to consumer dispute mechanisms in Japan.

11) Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above indicates the latest version.
